When we start something new, a habit we want to form or a goal we’ve decided to go after, we usually come out of the gate strong. We’re full of momentum and energy. After a time, the momentum wanes. We lose focus and fall back into old patterns of behaviour.
It’s at this point that we’ve got a decision to make. Either we dig deep and regroup, or we give in.
It’s easy to quit when times are tough. In fact, that’s what most people do. The people who reach their goals recognize it as a hiccup. They take a deep breath and keep on going.
