By the end of the course, I was more confused than ever because, as it turns out, the teacher didn't know what he was talking about. His parting advice to me was to put the manuscript back to the way it was before I met him.
I was devastated. I was frustrated. And I was angry.
I knew there had to be a better way.
And so I started the long, laborious process of educating myself. Every single day from that to this I have studied stories and how they work.
